ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (April 12, 2017) — The Tampa Bay Rowdies will begin their 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup quest at home at Al Lang Stadium, the United States Soccer Federation confirmed Wednesday.
The Rowdies will enter the competition in the Second Round, hosting the winner of The Villages SC (PDL) and Jacksonville Armada FC U23 (NPSL) on Wednesday, May 17.
The Villages and Armada FC U23 will play each other in Jacksonville on May 10 with the winner advancing to St. Petersburg.

Tampa Bay defeated FC Cincinnati (USL) in its first Open Cup match last year before being eliminated by the Columbus Crew SC (MLS) in the Fourth Round.
