ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (May 10, 2017) — The Tampa Bay Rowdies’ 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup journey will begin against the NPSL’s Jacksonville Armada U23 team on Tuesday, May 16 at Al Lang Stadium.
The Armada U23’s defeated the USL PDL’s The Villages SC 2-1 on Wednesday night in Jacksonville in a first round match. As the winners, the Armada U23s advance to meet the Rowdies next week.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m., with the Midfielder’s Gate opening at 6:30.
Please note that for this match, the Rowdies will only be opening up the Midfielder’s Section. Those with Midfielder’s Club and Reserved Season Tickets will have until Wednesday afternoon to lock their seats before they are made available to the general public. If your regular season tickets are in the stadium bowl, you will have the opportunity to pick a seat in the Midfielder’s Section.
